Hello! Welcome to my World of Trousseau!
I'm Urvi, the Founder and Designer behind Trousseau Jewels.
This idea of Trousseau first came to me whilst studying Fashion at the London College of Fashion, I realised there was a niche in the luxury jewellery market for investment jewellery that would allow women to feel special whilst remaining ethical in their purchases.
In a world where fast fashion and tighter budgets is no doubt encouraging unethical practices where we treat our purchases as easily disposable, I wanted to create a brand where Jewellery was affordable yet still an investment that you would covet and re-wear for years.
However, I knew it would be a challenge! How could I change women's views and encourage them to invest a little more in their jewellery? I realised very quickly, in order to do that I would have to focus on providing my Clients something that was truly special to them in choice, made from good quality materials and gave them a feel good 'Fix' every time they wore it. And thus the term my '#TrousseauFix' was born!
My dedication to the above means our pieces are either from our LIMITED collection, one-off creations that make you feel unique, or classic PRET collection, pieces that are produced in small batches but still can be personalized so they are special in the way they fit and look on you.
The real feel good factor though is the fact that we ensure there's no questionable production methods and you can wear your piece, confident that the person who has produced it has loved making it as much as you've enjoyed wearing it! As Trousseau further grows we are also in the midst of giving back to the countries where our Jewels are made, we'll release more information about that soon, in the meantime if you want to know more about where our pieces are made go to the #TrousseauWAY page
I pride myself on amalgamating fashion with positive self-development; helping women dress themselves in a way that showcases their individuality as well as building their personal brand through my unique styling process. As an independent brand, it's very exciting to be able to finally make our pieces so easily available to you all. Having been a fashion designer since 2010, she has successfully launched her own custom made apparel line as well as personal styling for clients. Her launch into the jewellery market with Trousseau Jewels has gained international success with her latest collection seen on Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Alesha Dixon, Antonia Thomas and Rosie Fortesque.
Urvi was also picked for the Fashion First initiative for emerging designers at Top Drawer London by Zandra Rhodes; in conjunction with the Fashion and Textile museum.
